We've always known that building a school would take a village: we're going to need our community, for each and every step on the pathway to opening. Whether through contributing to our fundraising campaign, supporting our building search, or sharing our vision with families and friends impacted by incarceration, the only way to open the doors to Freedom Side is together!

In that spirit, we're inviting everyone back to Pentridge Station on Friday, September 5 for a Kick-back to school party! We've got some major announcements, and some invitations to join us in the year ahead.

In addtion to music from our beloved DJ pals, Ill Doots will be performing, with more live art-making, raffles and updates from Freedom Side's community partners! This is an all ages event, and is free to attend—we will be accepting donations upon entry if you're able and inspired to give, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds!

We've said it before and we'll say it again: If you've been dreaming with us, we can't wait to greet you, if you're just learning about us, we can't wait to meet you.
