On November 22, 2025, Freedom Side School invites families and individuals impacted by incarceration to join us for a Community Listening Forum. 

This event is an opportunity for our community to gather for large and small group discussion, and learn more about our work to build a tuition free elementary school for children directly impacted by incarceration. Come prepared to ask questions, voice concerns, and contribute your experiences to the conversations shaping Freedom Side School. 

Childcare will be available through our community partners, Philly Childcare Collective, and light refreshments will be provided. Covid testing and masking are welcome and encouraged, test and masks will be provided onsite.

We’re looking forward to this time together, and continuing the conversations that support our work for the next generation of Freedom Fighters.
